This little house has a special place in my heart, as I used to call it home for a few months. I have so many good memories here, waking up to the ocean breeze, enjoying the slow island mornings, and just appreciating the simplicity of life by the sea. It's a small space, but that's part of its charm, and I genuinely think it's the perfect little hideaway for a couple to enjoy Siargao together. The ground floor is an open living space with a fully equipped kitchen, everything you need to prepare a nice breakfast or cook your own meals. One of my favorite features is the semi-outdoor bathroom, with its hot shower, natural light, and tropical atmosphere. There's something really nice about showering with fresh air around you! Upstairs is where the magic happens. A cozy little bedroom overlooking the ocean and the nearby islands, with a comfortable bed and powerful AC to keep you cool at night. The house is tucked into a genuine local neighborhood, where you'll get a little taste of everyday Siargao life. You'll see fishermen heading out in the morning, hear the occasional rooster, and experience a side of the island that feels a little more authentic than the busy tourist areas. And whenever you feel like exploring, the cafés, restaurants, surf spots, and nightlife of General Luna are just a short scooter ride away. It's not a big luxury villa, and that's exactly the point of simple living. Just a thoughtfully designed little home by the sea, with everything you need and nothing you don't. The kind of place where you slow down, forget about the time, and hopefully leave with some beautiful memories of your own.

The Surf Shacks is designed as an open, eco-conscious home, which means you stay closely connected to the surrounding environment, and can open all windows to let the sea breeze flow and cool down the house naturally. As anywhere in Siargao, you may encounter insects, geckos or hear natural sounds at night. This is part of the island experience, and we do our best to keep the house clean and comfortable at all times. Please keep in mind that this house is made out of native materials. There might be some dust from some insects, but we can provide additional bedsheets or cleaning services, don't hesitate to contact us if any inconvenience occurs. The location is central and lively during the day due to nearby fishermen activity, while remaining calm and relaxed inside the property. The beach is right accross the steet, beautiful and authentic but only swimmable at high tide. Swimmable spots all day long are accessible within a short drive. WiFi, hot water, fresh local coffee and drinking water are provided.
